Things might be way more fragile than they look.
This piece recreates the appearance of a material that surrounds us, holds up buildings, makes up the surfaces below our feet – and due to its durability it hints at the everlasting. But the nature of a substance does not come from its surface appearance. Does this piece of art really represent concrete or is it an illusion itself?
Due to the detailed carving process of each individual object, it took approximately 220 hours to complete those two art pieces which are made of plaster of Paris imprints.
